QUETZAL TOUR

As its name indicates, this tour is for the observation of one of the most beautiful birds in the world, the Quetzal. The visitor will be accompanied by an expert guide who will be equipped with a telescope to facilitate the sighting and obtain good photographs as well as taking them to the observation and feeding sites of the bird.

Normally this tour is recommended to do it in the early hours of the morning. The sighting season in our area is from November to mid-June. In the other months of the year we must look for other sites outside our property to guarantee observation.

SELF-GUIDED ROBLEDAL PATH TOUR.

4 km hike on a well-marked trail that runs through the cloud forest of the oaks as well as observing different species of birds, orchids, beautiful views and a beautiful waterfall which is located on the Parrita River.

This tour consists of walking trails where visitors will be guided by an expert bird guide where you can see many endemic birds of the area.

This tour takes place on the Cerro Buena Vista, which is the third highest hill in Costa Rica with an altitude of 3,491 m.s. in the páramo forest also known as dwarf forest where BIRD OBSERVATION is endemic to Costa Rica and if your interest is the observation of the flora this is the place indicated for it with a guide who has knowledge of plants.

In addition, if the weather conditions permit it can be observed towards the pacific, Quepos, the marine whale park, the Osa peninsula, 4 volcanoes, Irazú, Turrialba, Barba and Poas.

This tour starts at 6.30 pm on our cloud forest trails where we will be looking for nocturnal birds, tales like Bare-Shanked, spotted owl, spotted owl, spotless saw, owl and dark nigtjar.
